Hot & Smoky Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken

Nothing is easier than slow cooker recipes for a week's worth or easy eating! These tender, pull-apart shredded chicken thighs have just a touch of heat and spice.
INGREDIENTS
2-4 lbs chicken thighs, less chicken will result in more liquid to drain (used boneless and skinless)
6 cloves garlic, grated
3/4 cup bone broth (used beef)
2 limes, juiced
1 tbs cumin powder
1 tbs chilli powder
1 tsp dried oregano
2 tsp salt
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
METHOD

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker

Add chicken thighs

cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours. Turn chicken over halfway through cooking

when finished, remove the chicken and drain any excess liquid

shred while still hot before storing
SERVE
Use in tacos, on salad, and serve with avocado and pico de gallo
